At approximately 11:09 local time on January 22, 2025, Solomon Henderson, a student at Antioch High school (just outside of Nashville, TN), opened fire in the school cafeteria;
Henderson fatally shot a female student and wounded a male student before fatally shooting himself;
The shooter was a 17-year-old Black male, challenging some aspects of the typical violent extremist school shooter profile;
Henderson had a vast online footprint across numerous social media platforms, and shared a manifesto on Discord and a separate, lengthy diary on secure messaging platform Element;
In the manifesto, Henderson shared links to Terrorgram Collective propaganda, images of himself in a skullmask, and glorified neofascist accelerationist attackers like Juraj Krajčík, Payton Gendron, Arda K, and Brenton Tarrant;
His writings replicate known militant accelerationist, mass violence actors’ manifestos and position Henderson as a aspiring to “Sainthood;”
Henderson disseminated photos and video footage of his preparation, including purchasing materials for an unrealized bombing and photos of his gun and its magazine in the school bathroom.
Henderson also venerated key figures within 764 networks such as the aliases “tobbz,” “yegor,” and “slain.”
